Anna J. Ruffolo's Obituary
Anna J. Ruffolo, 99, of Syracuse, passed away at Van Duyn Home and Hospital on Saturday, October 18, 2014. She was born in Mendicino, Italy, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Rosina (Nardi) Ruffolo. Anna enjoyed cooking, baking, and taking care of her family and also loved cats.
She was predeceased by her two brothers, Frank Ruffolo and Louis Ruffolo, and her sister, Gloria Ruffolo.
Anna is survived by her brother, Edward Ruffolo of North Syracuse; nephew, Robert (Diane) Ruffolo of Hastings, NY; niece, Carol (Martin) Drexler of Syracuse; three great-nephews, Jeffrey, Brandon, and Justin Drexler.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Anna’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Syracuse. Entombment will follow in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum. THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME is handling local arrangements.
