Anne (Principato) Casbarro's Obituary
Anne (Principato) Casbarro, of Syracuse, passed away Christmas Day with her loving family by her side. She was fondly known as "Auntanna" to all her family and friends. Anne owned her own tailor shop and was a seamstress "extraordinaire" that hand-made Baptismal Gowns for all her nieces, great- nieces and great-nephews. She was also a seamstress for several of the finer department stores.
She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Casbarro in 1974; her parents, Joseph & Antonina Principato; brothers & sisters-in-law, Peter & Sarah Principato, Frank & Sarah Principato; brother-in-law, Frank Albino; nephews, Dominick Principato and Robert Kalaska. Anne is survived by her sister, Irene Albino; her nieces and nephews, Mary Anne (Albert) Cutri, Nina Albino, Frances Kalaska, Angela Kitts, Joseph (Kathy) Principato, Frank (Terry) Principato and Gemina Principato along with several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:15 am Monday in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 11:30 am in St. Cecilia's Church, Solvay. Entombment will follow in the family mausoleum at Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
