Anne (Carella) DeJulio's Obituary
Anne (Carella) DeJulio, 84, of East Syracuse, passed away Friday, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Joseph and Angela (Cerio) Carella. Anne was a long-time communicant of St. Matthew’s Church and was involved in numerous committees at church, including the Giving Tree. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, and loved her many family gatherings.
Anne was predeceased by her husband, Rudolph DeJulio in 2001, as well as her sisters, Toni Barber and Delores Carella.
She is survived by two daughters, Marcia (Lou) Valerino and JoAnn (Brent) Binion; three sons, Rick (Jill), Tony, and Dan (Sara) DeJulio; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Rosemary (Al) Pisegna, and a brother, Joe Carella, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of loving friends.
Family and friends may call from 9-11 on Monday, July 3, 2017 at St. Matthew’s Church, 100 Kinne Street, East Syracuse, NY, 13057, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Anne’s life at 11:00 am in St. Matthew’s Church. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Matthew’s Church, 229 W. Yates St. East Syracuse, NY, 13057.
