Anthony J. Angarano's Obituary
Anthony J. Angarano, 80, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday in Crouse Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He proudly served with the United States Marine Corps. Anthony was a Lithographer for many years before retiring in 1989. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Anthony is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances R. (Walker) Angarano; six children, Karen L. Angarano of Syracuse; Laurie A. Hare of East Syracuse; Sherry E. (Thomas) Carney of Grand Island, NY; Kim M. Angarano of Cicero; Michael A. (Donna Ventresca) Angarano of Minoa and David J. (Jacqueline) Angarano of Syracuse;12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 half sisters, Edith (John) Borza of FL, Patricia (Arthur) Nodecker of PA., and Linda (David) Killenbeck, of FL., along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of Anthony’s life will be held at 8:00 AM Thursday in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 9:00 AM in St. Daniel Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM.
