Anthony L. Chiodo's Obituary
Anthony L. Chiodo, 74, passed away on February 16, 2023. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Frank and Christine Chiodo. He served in the 108th Tac Con Division of the NYS Air National Guard. Tony was in the sheet metal industry for over 50 years, involved with many building projects in CNY. He was a master craftsman who founded and successfully operated Advance Sheet Metal, Inc. working alongside his wife and son. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved family and friends.
Tony is survived by his wife of 53 years Michele (Grenga) Chiodo; his son, Michael (Dana) Chiodo, daughters, Karri (Kevin) Maher, and Nicole (Tom) Farrington; five grandchildren, Kylie, Kasey, Blake, Brooklyn and Shae; his brother, Angelo (Lynn) Chiodo; his sister, Delores (Bob) Fennelly, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 9:45 – 10:45 am at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Tony’s life at 11:00 am, with entombment and Military Honors at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church Building Fund.
