Anthony "Tony" Cornacchione's Obituary
Anthony “Tony” Cornacchione, 98 1/2, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Tony was born in Syracuse to the late Sam and Virginia (DiPardo) Cornacchione. He worked as a tool maker for the Carrier Corp. for 41 years, retiring in 1988 and he served in the United States Navy. A true handyman, Tony could fix anything, but his greatest joy was interacting with his grandchildren; they loved his childlike ways of playing with them.
In addition to his parents, Tony is predeceased by his wife, Norma (Varano) Cornacchione this past August; his brothers, Cosmo, Sam, and Mario Cornacchione; his sisters, Antoinette Cornacchione, Josephine Humeniuk, and Anne Bleem.
He is survived by his daughters, Susan Cornacchione and Linda Tiff; his two grandchildren; his brother, Rocco (Frances) Cornacchione; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral mass in celebration of Tony’s life will be held at 11 am on Monday, December 5, 2022, in Epiphany Parish at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 425 Beechwood Ave. Liverpool. Private burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery.
