Anthony M. Forte's Obituary
Anthony M. Forte, 95, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday at the home of his daughter surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Elmira, NY, the son of the late Louis and Teresa (Paladino) Forte. Anthony was a plant manager with the Gulf Oil Company for many years before his retirement. He and his wife Marjorie enjoyed spending time in Florida and he was an avid golfer and woodworker.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Michael, Frank and Phil and two sisters, Marianne Knaflez and Kay Teleck.
Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Marjorie (Osborne) Forte; his son, Michael L. (Judith) Forte of Liverpool; his daughter, Toni M. (Robert) Fortino of Brewerton; four grandchildren, Amy (Dave) Pirro, Cathy Kelsey, Lisa (Jeff) Kyanka and Tony (Heidi) Forte; eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Anthony’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Louis Bonavita, Sarah, Mary Beth and Cindy for their compassion, love and support and also to the nurses at St. Joseph’s Hospital, 1-5 for their special care.
Private calling hours will be held at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
