Anthony A. Froio's Obituary
Anthony A. “Tony” Froio, 85, of Minoa, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at St. St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Joseph and Mary Froio. Anthony was a graduate of North High School. He retired from Learbury’s after many years of service.
He was predeceased by five brothers, Dominick, John, Joseph, Peter and Paul and his sister, Anne Froio.
Anthony is survived by his two sisters, Rose Tripoli of Minoa and Catherine (Dario) Meluni of Camillus, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service in celebration of Anthony’s life will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Entombment will follow in the family mausoleum at Assumption Cemetery. A calling hour for family and friends will be held from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
