Anthony J. Longo's Obituary
Anthony J. Longo, of Liverpool, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the Bishop Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a brief illness.
Anthony was a Purple Heart veteran of WWII and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans. He was employed by EZ Washer and retired from the US Postal Service in 1986.
He is survived by his son, Anthony M. Longo, Jr. of Pompano Beach, FL; two sisters, Mary Bugge of Syracuse and Bernadette DelVecchio of N. Syracuse; two brothers, Mike Longo of Westvale and John Longo of N. Syracuse; eleven nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd., (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY, immediately followed by a funeral service at 5:30 p.m. Entombment with military honors will be private at St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum.
