Anthony Palmisano's Obituary
Anthony Palmisano, 89, of Syracuse passed away on Friday at his home. Born in Syracuse, he served with the US Army Air Corp during WWII in the 24th Combat Mapping Squadron. Anthony was a 2nd generation owner of Ralph Palmisano Movers Inc. for over 40 years before retiring to his 3rd generation son. He was predeceased by his wife, Beatrice (Mulpagano) Palmisano in 2001. Anthony is survived by his son, Ralph A. (Renee) Palmisano of N. Syracuse; his daughter, Mae E. (John) O'Kipney of Rochester; grandchildren, Michelle (Tim) Dougherty, Danielle (Jeff) Brokaw, Jamie (Luke) Cichowski and Jennie Palmisano; 4 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 8:00 AM in the Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home and 9:00 AM in St. John the Baptist Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7 PM. Contributions may be made to the Francis House.
