Anthony D. "Tony" Simiele's Obituary
Anthony "Tony" Simiele, 68, was called home to the Lord on July 28, 2011 after a prolonged illness. Tony was a faithful parishioner of St. Cecilia's Church, Solvay. He retired from Crucible Steel Inc. after 32 years of service. Tony was a member of the Central New York Street Rods. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol A. (Pascuzzi) Simiele; 4 children, Lucian Simiele, Henry (Lisa) DelFavero, Joseph DelFavero and Anthony Simiele Jr., 7 grandchildren; sister, Donna (Terry) Serviss and brother, Michael (Dawn) Simiele. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 8:30 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse and 9:30 AM in Our Lady of Peace Church, Lakeland. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7 PM. Contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY.
