Anthony A. Tartaglia's Obituary
Anthony A. Tartaglia, 83, of Liverpool, passed away November 5, 2022. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Salvatore and Madeline (Mancini) Tartaglia. Anthony was a proud U.S. Coast Guard veteran serving from 1961-1965. He was an avid outdoorsman, and above all, loved spending time with family and friends, especially his beloved grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by his grandson, Corey Slattery.
Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Anne (Madden) Tartaglia; two sons, Anthony (Jacqueline) Tartaglia and Daniel Tartaglia; his daughter, Michelle Tartaglia; three grandsons, Kyle Tartaglia, Joseph Tartaglia and Nathan Slattery; one great grandchild, Brayden Slattery, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 9:00 – 10:00 am at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Anthony’s life at 11:00 am in St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse, NY. He will be laid to rest with Military Honors in St. Agnes Cemetery, South Ave., Syracuse, NY.
