Anthony J. Vespa's Obituary
Anthony J. Vespa passed peacefully in the company of family and friends at age 89 on October 1, 2012. He retired from White-Sundstrand Corporation as chief purchasing agent. Anthony was a member of Our Lady of Solace Roman Catholic Church where he served as an usher for many years. He is predeceased by his parents, Edward and Lena Vespa; his wife, Linda (Runeari) Vespa and his three brothers, Sal, Louis and Edward.
Anthony is survived by his daughter, Linda (Vespa) Mulligan; his son, Edward J. Vespa; his grandsons, Robert A. (Christy) Vespa, Robert J. Mulligan, Jonathan E. (Kimberley) Vespa and Richard J. Mulligan; his great-grandchildren, Maxwell Vespa, Ava Mulligan, Emmett and Benjamin Vespa and Leo Vespa; along with his sisters-in-law, Cecilia Vespa and Arlene Vespa.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 11:00 am in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 417 S. Orchard Road (corner of Fay Road). Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum, 800 Grant Blvd., Syracuse Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
