Antoinette "Toni" Asterino's Obituary
Antoinette “Toni” Asterino passed away peacefully on October 25, 2016 at 80 years old surrounded by her loving husband, three sons and friends in Hobe Sound, Florida. Antoinette is formerly from East Syracuse and Cicero. She graduated from North High School in 1953 and from there went to work at General Electric, soon after she met her husband, Anthony Asterino, and was married October 16, 1954.
One of her passions was to cook and entertain for family and friends. She was a fabulous friend to all who knew her and is known to always being dressed to the “nines”. Toni always looked for an invite to a casino and would be sure to take you up on it. She was extremely proud of her seven grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Micalene Maione; her three sisters, Susan Renzulla, Jean DeLucas and Katherine Cosco.
Toni is survived by her husband of 62 years, Anthony Asterino; three sons, Michael (Renee), Anthony and Christopher (Michelle) Asterino; 7 grandchildren, Michael and Tommy, Marissa and Gabriella, Morgan, McKenize, and Madison; brothers-in-law, Peter (Dolly), Joseph (Chris) Asterino and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to Treasure Coast Hospice North, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
