Antoinette Bova 's Obituary
Antoinette (Palermo) Bova, 90, of Dewitt, passed away on Friday at Upstate University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Syracuse, she was a former member of JCC and the Madonna Assunta Society. A loving and giving person, Antoinette loved crocheting, cooking and baking for her family. She adored her granddaughter and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Frances Palermo; sister, Louise McGee and son-in-law, Duane Campbell. Antoinette is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Alfonzo "Ralph" Bova; daughter, Josephine (Al Brisson) Campbell of Jamesville; granddaughter, Lucretia (Matthew) Klish; 2 great-grandchildren, Anthony and Adrianna; sister, Olga Stirpe of DeWitt and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 10:00 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY and 11:00 AM in Holy Cross Church, DeWitt. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 PM.
