Antoinette (DiMaria) David's Obituary
Antoinette "Toni" (DiMaria) David, 68, of Central Square, passed away peacefully on Monday with her family by her side after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of Salvatore and Margaret DiMaria. Antoinette enjoyed cooking and baking for everyone that was around her. She also enjoyed spending time at the casino. Antoinette's passion in life was being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She took pride in making sure her family and friends were always doing well. Antoinette will be dearly missed. She was predeceased by her husband, John David in 1986; two grandchildren, Brittney Rose Sparkman and Antoinette "T.T." Firnstein and her brother, James DiMaria. Antoinette is survived by her son, Glenn Milyon of East Syracuse; four daughters, Ann Marie (James Rogers) Benway of Pennellville, Valerie Giocondo of East Syracuse, Margaret May of Central Square and Misti David of Liverpool; thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two brothers, Angelo DiMaria of Central Square and Samuel (Melinda) DiMaria of Syracuse; three sisters, Louise Bilger of East Syracuse, Margaret Henry and Patricia Steward, both of Florida; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in St. Lucy's Church. Burial will follow in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
