Antoinette Dunbar's Obituary
Antoinette C. "Toni" Dunbar, 69, of Syracuse went to be with the Lord Tuesday surrounded by her loving family. Toni was a life resident of Syracuse and was a very devout Christian. She will always be remembered as an outgoing person who loved being around family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd Dunbar; her son, Anthony LaRocca and her brother, Louis Corso. Toni is survived by three sons; Nate (Kathleen) LaRocca, Benny (Terri) LaRocca and Rick LaRocca; a daughter-in-law; Christine LaRocca; three stepsons; Scott Dunbar, Steve (Marie) Dunbar and Mark (Melissa) Dunbar; 16 grandchildren; Benny Jr., David, Jason, Amber, Joseph, Michael, Christina, Crystal, Philip, Rick Jr., Jennifer, Nicholas, Ayla, Zachary, Sarah and Matthew; two sisters; Josephine (Robert) Thebert and Mary Corso; also several nieces and nephews and her lifelong friends, Marie (Richard) Edwards. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 9:00 am in Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home and 10:00 am in St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will be private at a later date. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 7 pm. Toni's family wishes to express a very heartfelt "thank you" to the St. Joseph's Hospital SICU Unit.
