Antoinette M. "Annie" (Granata) LaFountaine-Foley's Obituary
Antoinette M. “Annie” LaFountaine-Foley, 86, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday at home with her son Joseph by her side and in the loving arms of her daughter-in-law, Cindy. She was born in Syracuse, and lived in Lakeport and Syracuse all of her life. Annie enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Rose (Cousimo) Granata; her husband, James Foley in 1997, her son, Rosario “Raymond” LaFountain, and her brother, Lawrence Granata.
Antoinette is survived by her sons, Joseph (Cindy) LaFountaine of Syracuse and Francis LaFountain of Syracuse; six grandchildren, Jay, Jerry, Jamie, Dierdre, Michelle, and Michael; nine great-grandchildren, Austen, Christian, Abigale, Tristam, Joshua, Anani, Margie, Evelyn, and Violet; many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Antoinette’s life will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Spring burial will be held In Oneida Lake Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
