Antoinette (Procopio) Zangari's Obituary
Antoinette “Toni” Zangari, 84, of Cicero, passed away Friday at home surrounded by her loving family after a long illness. Born November 6, 1930 in Calabria, Italy, Toni immigrated to America at the age of 5 with her parents, Peter and Vittoria (Vaccaro) Procopio.

For several years, Toni worked at Chappell’s and later volunteered her time and talents to St. Peter’s Church rectory. Toni’s greatest joy of all was watching her grandchildren grow up with a rich Italian culture, all of which was fostered by Toni’s love of cooking and baking. Now, Toni’s children and grandchildren will continue her passion for having Sunday Dinner, Italian style.
She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Victor, Steve, and Dominick and her beloved sister, Jenny Ross.
Toni is survived by her husband Peter; sons, David (Francine), Peter (Donna) and Nick (Debbie); daughters, Doreen (Ed) Brisson and Lisa (Mark) LaMontagne; grandchildren, Anthony, David, Alexandra, Peter, Andrea, Allison, Leesa, Michael, Katherine, Joseph, Matthew, Haleigh, Maria, Olivia and Mia; many nieces and nephews.
