Antonio "Nino" Arecchi's Obituary
Antonio “Nino” Arecchi, 94, of East Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 19, 2017. Born in Italy, he was predeceased by his parents, Francesco and Anna Arecchi; his siblings, all of Italy, and by his wife, Josephine in 2001. Antonio resided in the Syracuse area for over 63 years and had been employed by Allied Chemical for 25 years and was previously employed by New Process Gear. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, and traveling to Italy after his retirement.
Antonio is survived by his daughter, Ann Marie (Michael) Ricciardiello; two granddaughters, Michelle (Ray) Carlin and Joanne (Andrew) Morton; five great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Andrew, Ryan, Leo Antonio, and Hayes; many nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Italy.
Funeral services and burial will be private per Antonio’s request. A Memorial Mass and celebration of Antonio’s life will be held at a later date.
