Antonio LaMacchia's Obituary
Antonio LaMacchia, 92, of Liverpool, passed away on Monday at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Spadafora, Sicily and served with the Italian Navy during WWII. Antonio resided in the Syracuse area for the past 50 years. He was employed with B.G. Sulzle Needle Company for 24 years. He was predeceased by his grandson, John Paul Conceio and 3 brothers, Domenico, Antonino and Guiseppe LaMacchia. Antonio is survived by his loving wife, Giuseppa (Gitto) LaMacchia; 4 children, Pina (Ted) Conceio of Phoenix, AZ, Tony (Rita) LaMacchia of Scottsdale, AZ, Fran (Tino) Lampuri of Cary, NC and Maggie (Mark) Peltz of Liverpool; 9 grandchildren, Mark Conceio, Anthony (Cory) LaMacchia, Paul (Katrina) Conceio, Vincent (Kara) LaMacchia, Cristina (Sean) Fenton, Stephanie (John) Thorne, Anthony Lampuri, Salvatore (Kristin) Lampuri and Mark (Andrea) Peltz; 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 8:30 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY and 9:30 AM in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM.
