Antonio Ranieri of Liverpool, NY, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born in San Sostene, Italy on July 27, 1921 to Francesca Pittelli and Salvatore Ranieri. He served in the Italian Military during WWII. Upon his return, he met the love of his life Antonietta Arena and married in 1950. Antonio immigrated to the US in 1955. He is also survived by his sister, Serafina “Mary” Battaglia, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins in the US and Italy.
Antonio and Antonietta cherished their time in Clearwater, FL in the winters with their many wonderful friends, especially Rocco and Antonia Vono.
Thanks to all of the special doctors, nurses, and caregivers that helped with his care and to help ease his pain.
