Arthur A. "Tim" Speers' Obituary
Arthur A. “Tim” Speers, 80, of Cicero, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on December 9, 2024. Tim was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, son of the late Norm and Eleanor (Blanchard) Speers. Tim was a graduate of North Syracuse High School and was employed with Rollway Bearing and later with Chrysler for over 37 years, until his retirement. He then spent 10 years as a Security Guard with the Sisters of St. Francis on Court Street. Tim enjoyed deer and duck hunting with his two sons, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Tim was predeceased by his son, Donald W. Speers.
Tim is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary E. Jardine; a son, Kevin A. (Kimberly) Speers; grandchildren, Jake, Nicole, Ben, Brad, Jarrod, Olivia, and Maddy Speers; great-grandchildren, Gabe, Scarlet Rose, Jameson, and Wyatt Speers; and his favorite cat, Buddy.
In keeping with Tim’s wishes, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave. Syracuse, NY 13208.
