Ashley M. Caiello's Obituary
Ashley M. Caiello, 41, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 29, 2026, after a courageous and uphill battle with kidney cancer. She was born in Syracuse and worked as a package handler at UPS for many years. Ashley loved doing puzzles, going to thrift stores and hiking in the Adirondacks. She was always smiling and keeping a very positive attitude. Family and friends will always remember that about her. The one thing she cherished most in life was time spent with her family, Justin and especially her daughters, Stella and Luna.
Predeceasing Ashley and welcoming her into heaven were her maternal and paternal grandparents and great grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is survived by her loving spouse, Justin Council; her precious daughters, Stella Jean Council and Luna Mia Council; her parents, Mark and Cynthia (Troendle) Caiello; her brother, Steven Caiello; her sister, Amy (Caiello) Huddle; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the entire Council family.
Visitation will take place on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Ashley’s life at 12:00 pm (noon) at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
