Barbara R. (Paul) Burr's Obituary
Barbara R. (Paul) Burr, 83, of Liverpool, passed away on December 18, 2017 after a courageous battle with an illness.
She was born in Boston, MA on October 9, 1934, to the late Frederick Stier and Ruth M. (Williams) Pumphrey.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Lester H. Burr, Jr., her children, Charles Gregory (Dody) Paul, and Deborah (Robert) Secules; grandchildren, Amanda Paul, Joshua Paul, Gregory St. Andre, and Jeffrey (Leiya) St. Andre; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 step-children; their families, and many special friends.
Barbara had a secretarial career with her last full-time job at Griffiss Air Force Base. Barbara enjoyed volunteering at Beaver Lake, tap dancing with The Town of Onondaga Our Town Tappers, golfing with friends, and especially spending time with her family.
Calling hours to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 pm on Friday, December 22, 2017 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Barbara’s name to the Friends of Beaver Lake, 8477 E. Mud Lake Road, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
