Barbara A. (Basile) Capocefalo's Obituary
Barbara A. (Basile) Capocefalo, 92, of East Syracuse, passed away peacefully after a brief stay at Loretto Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Syracuse to the late Anthony and Ida (Ciciarelli) Basile and married her husband, Robert in 1950. Barbara was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville and volunteered with Meals on Wheels. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Robert in 1998 and two brothers, Frank and Joseph Basile.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Robert S. (Jean) Capocefalo, Jr. of East Syracuse and Thomas J. (Lisa) Capocefalo of Miami, FL; a daughter, Cheryl A. (Mark) Mulconry of Fayetteville, NY; grandchildren, Traci (Michael) Tyler, Jaclyn (Alex Woods) Capocefalo and Evan Mulconry; five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Delores and Mary Basile; along with several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass in celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 10:30 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Fayetteville. A private entombment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
