Barbara J. (Graves) Callipari's Obituary
Barbara J. (Graves) Callipari, 83, of Syracuse, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025 at Upstate University Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Harry and Rosemary (Crawford) Graves. Barbara enjoyed camping, playing cards, Bingo and going to the casino, playing the 7 Machine. She would teach others crossword games and provide unnecessary driving directions. Most importantly, she loved being around her family.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Antonio D. Callipari in 2019; her daughter, Rose Marie (David) Travers in 1994, and her cat, Chloe.
Barbara is survived by her children, Bruno Callipari (Alissa Dirubbo), Olivia (Daniel) Ryan, Antonio Callipari (Kathleen Wood-Callipari), and Natalina (Richard) Crouse; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her cat, Max and her friends at PEACE Inc., Betty and Paula.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 9 – 11 am, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Barbara’s life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY, with entombment in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
