Barbara J. (Dempster) Neville's Obituary
Barbara J. (Dempster) Neville, 88, of Bridgeport, NY, passed away on November 4, 2019. She was born in Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude Dempster. Barbara worked at Loretto Nursing Home for more than 25 years. She had a great sense of humor and loved to have fun. Barbara treasured time spent with family and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, James R. Neville in 2007; 2 sons, James R. Neville, Jr. in 1948 and Donald R. Neville in 2016, and 6 siblings.
Barbara is survived by 4 daughters, Linda Conkrite (David), Maureen Wagar (Lloyd), Karen Kornbluth (David) and Sharon Bukowski (Robert); 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 10 am – 12 pm, immediately followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Barbara’s life at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Burial will follow at the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.
