Barbara P. "June" Korb's Obituary
Barbara P. “June” (Pharoah) Korb, 89, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2018. Barbara was born in Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Graham) Pharoah. She grew up in Taunton and graduated from Split Rock High School. Barbara worked in the insurance industry for over 40 years and retired from the Miller Agency as an Accounting Manager in 2013. The St. Lawrence River held a special place in her heart since childhood. She was an avid SU basketball fan. Her family meant the world to her.
She was predeceased by her infant son, Gregory John; sisters, Ruth Maloney, Genevieve Ferris, Shirlie Fonehouse and her brother, Frank Pharoah.
Barbara is survived by her beloved daughter and best friend, Terri Lynn (Bill) Carter; two grandchildren, Dylan and Danielle and extended family near and far.
A calling hour will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, followed by a funeral service in celebration of Barbara’s life at 1:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
