Bennie R. Sobon Jr.'s Obituary
Bennie R. Sobon, Jr., 69, of Cedar Park, Texas, formerly of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at his home on March 5, 2013. Bennie served with the U.S. Marines from 1961until he was honorably discharged in 1969. Bennie was an electrician retiring from the New York State Fair.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bennie Sr. and Stella Sobon. Bennie is survived by his wife, Mary Anne; three sons, Bennie III (Terry), Vincent and Shane; three grandchildren, Rocky, Starr and Vince; two sisters, Patricia Jaquin (Norm) and Gertrude German; four brothers, Anthony (Mary Lou), Stanley (Roseanna), William (Mary Lu) and John (Misty).
A memorial mass in celebration of Bennie's life will be held at noon on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Church.
