Bernard R. "Bernie" Jablonski's Obituary
Bernard “Bernie” Jablonski, 73, of Cicero, passed away July 4, 2026 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Buffalo, NY, son of the late Raymond and Irene (Wojcik) Jablonski. Bernie was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran. He worked as a Biomedical Engineering Service Specialist at Radiometer America for over 30 years. Bernie was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Cicero. He enjoyed riding his Harley, listening to Polkas, cheering on the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres, and coaching his son’s youth baseball teams. Most of all, Bernie loved spending time smiling and laughing with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother-in-law, Conrad Boudreau.
Bernie leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Susan (Buchbinder) Jablonski; his son, Derek Jablonski (fiancée, Taylor Seymour); two sisters, Bernadette Boudreau and Darlene (Jim) Zuzze; his brother, Raymond (Karen) Jablonski; many nieces and nephews, and his grand-dog, Sparky.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Bernie’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at St. Rose of Lima Church, 409 S. Main St., N. Syracuse, NY, followed by interment with Military Honors in North Syracuse Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Monday, July 13, 2026 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY.
