Bernard LaManna's Obituary
Bernard LaManna, 67, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Syracuse and served with the US Navy from 1963 to 1966. Bernard retired from RTA CNY Centro Bus after 21 years and was currently working at the Veterans Administration Hospital. He was a member of the VFW in Mattydale and the American Legion Post 951. Bernard loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Sarah (Ilaqua) LaManna and his brother, Vincent LaManna. Bernard is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Kathryne (Robinson) LaManna; his children, Bernadette LaManna of Syracuse, Frank LaManna of Cicero and Joseph LaManna of CA; grandchildren, Alexandria LaManna of Syracuse, Annabella LaManna of CA, Frankie and Daunte LaManna, both of Syracuse, Eva Karis of Syracuse and Giovannah Harris of Syracuse; three sisters, Sarah (Alan) Fox, Josephine Nelson and Frances Bates, all of Syracuse along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be private.
