Bette (Callo) Lessaongang's Obituary
Bette (Callo) Lessaongang, 91, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 22, 2016. She was born in Rome, NY, daughter of the late Josephine and Vincent Poma. Bette was employed with the Hotel Syracuse many years ago. She was a member of the Amitica Club and North Central Assembly of God. Bette enjoyed playing pinochle and yahtzee and looked forward to her trips at the casino.
She was predeceased by her husband, Silas C. Lessaongang in 2006; her daughter Bettina Lessaongang in 2008, and her sister, Catherine Shore.
Bette is survived by her daughters, Patricia Crisafulli and Josephine (Matt) Montgomery, both of Las Vegas, Catherine McKinley and Darlene (Brian) Lostumbo, both of Syracuse; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 8:00 am on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a celebration of Bette’s life at 9:00 am at North Central Assembly of God, Buckley Rd. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
