Betty Jane Beaulieu's Obituary
Betty Jane Beaulieu, 92, of Manlius, NY, left this life to be with her loving husband Bill of 72 years. Our beloved mother was an aunt, grandmother, and best friend that anyone could wish for. Betty was born in Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Henderson) Murphy. Betty was a natural beauty and displayed her talents as a cosmetologist at Flah’s.
She somehow always found time while raising her six kids to bake cupcakes and cookies for school social events. Some of her greatest joys were traveling with her family, camping and campfires. Mom and Dad always looked forward to their yearly vacations to Daytona Beach, and summers at Oneida Lake.
Birthdays, weddings, and holidays were about family, and Thanksgiving to Mom was a most special celebration to enjoy and give thanks.
Most importantly we will remember her most for her inner beauty and love which drew everyone she touched near to her in a long and rich life.
She was predeceased by her sister, Helen A. Barry.
Betty Jane is survived by her four sons, Thomas (Eileen), William (Linda), James (Anne) and Joseph (Lynn); two daughters, Ellen (Luke) Akin and Betty (John) D’Arrigo; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren’ several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at noon at St. Daniel’s Church. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum. In accordance with NYS guidelines on social distancing and 25% capacity, family and friends may call on Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Road (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
