Beverly (Goodsell) Lansley's Obituary
Beverly Lansley, 95 of Fairmount, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, February 19, 2024. Beverly was born in Syracuse to the late Edward and Anne (MacRae) Goodsell. For many years she worked as a Clerk for Onondaga County but took much pride in donating her time to Holy Family Church where she volunteered on the Altar & Rosary Society and helped organize funeral luncheons.
Anyone who knew Bev knew that she was devoted to her family. Beverly raised her children with such unconditional love that we considered her our very own angel on earth.
She was truly loved by everyone that knew her.
In addition to her parents, Beverly is predeceased by her husband Vincent in 1996.
She is survived by her sister, Joanne Mahoney, her four children, Theresa Barnish DeJohn (David), Chris Lansley, Bob (Fran) Lansley, and Bill (Mary) Lansley, four grandchildren, Fawn Duff, Keith Lansley, Paige Barnish and Alexandra Barnish and four great-grandchildren, Silas, Brycen, Nova and Cecilia, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will take place from 4:00 - 6:00 pm on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd., (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse. A funeral Mass in celebration of Beverly's life will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 127 Chapel Drive, Syracuse. She will be laid to rest privately with her husband in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
