Beverly F. O'Connor's Obituary
Beverly F. O'Connor, 86, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday in Rosewood Heights Health Center. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of Henry and Bertha (Gladding) Stevens. Beverly worked at Switz's for many years before working as a machinist with Gaylord Brothers, retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 787 in Cicero. Beverly was also a self taught musician and played several instruments including the Ukulele.
Beverly is survived by two daughters, Audrey Denny of Camillus and Cheryl (Dominick) Lombardi of Liverpool; five grandchildren, Douglas Denny, Donald (Aileen) Denny, Rosina Lombardi, Dominick (Julie) Lombardi and Regina (Daniel) Trouesdale; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Beverly's family would like to thank the staff at Rosewood Heights for all their care and compassion.
A funeral service in celebration of Beverly's life will be held on Monday at 6:45 pm in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME on Monday from 4:00 to 6:45 pm.
