Bruno Natale's Obituary
Bruno Natale, 90, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 16, 1925 in Abruzzo, Italy and came to the United States in 1963, residing in the Syracuse area. Bruno was employed with Syracuse China for 22 years, retiring in 1987.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mauro and Agatha (Carlone) Natale and his brothers, Camillo, Ercole, Guido and Federico Natale, and his sister, Orlanda Turli.
Bruno is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Ginetta (Giandomenico) Natale; his son, Bruno Natale, II of Syracuse; his daughter, Esther DiCosta of Cicero; his granddaughter, Natalie DiCosta; two brothers, Aurelio (Marisa) Natale of Italy and Tito (Anna Tovar) Natale of Venezuela; his sister, Maria Cicchini of Australia; sister-in-law, Lena Natale of Peekskill, NY, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to give special thanks to Elizabeth Davis, home health aide, for the wonderful care she gave to Bruno, and many thanks to the part-time health aides, Marjorie and Daphnie, the doctors and nurses at St. Joseph’s Hospital for the care they provided during his hospitalizations.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Bruno’s life at 11:30 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
