Bryan L. Rothermel's Obituary
Bryan L. Rothermel, 33, of Syracuse, passed away and was taken from us too soon on Saturday December 22, 2018. He was born in Syracuse, was a force of energy and made friends wherever he went. Bryan had an infectious laugh, enjoyed playing golf, he loved the Buffalo Bills and the NY Mets.
He worked as a chef in several Syracuse area establishments, most recently at the Genesee Grand.
Bryan was predeceased by his father, Lawrence G. Rothermel; uncles, George Simpson and Michael Rothermel; and his aunt, Kathy Rothermel.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Chantal (Sparkes) Rothermel; his mother Therese Hennessy; step-mother, Diane Rothermel; aunt, Deb Harris; his uncles, Jim and Tom Rothermel; along with several nieces, nephews and friends.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Bryan’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 28, 2018 in St. Patrick’s Church Syracuse, followed by burial in Valley Cemetery, Syracuse. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
