Camille Marie Fiumara's Obituary
Camille M. Fiumara (Aunt Mimi), age 61, passed away on May 21, 2018 in Anderson, SC. Formerly from Syracuse, daughter of the late Salvatore and Elma Fiumara, Camille graduated from Corcoran High School. She will be remembered for her loving and caring heart that was open to everyone and of course the many stories and laughter. “Oh, the laughter, we will never forget.” Camille was amazing for her talents as a seamstress, she could make anything from clothes to curtains; later in life working at Anderson’s Body Shop in South Carolina reupholstering the interiors of cars and trucks and even motorcycle seats. She was “the best”. Camille will never be forgotten and will always remain in the hearts of us all.
She is predeceased by her brothers, Nicholas, Salvatore, and Joseph; sisters-in-law, Carol, Carole, and Joanne, and nephew, Peter Fiumara.
Camille is survived by her brother, Nunzio of SC; sisters, Concetta “Connie” of Myrtle Beach, SC; Selma (Al) of Jacksonville, FL and Debbie of East Syracuse; sister-in-law, Linda Fiumara; cousin and best friend, Annette (Tony) Grosso; two god-daughters, Megan Forbes and Alexis Grosso; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved cat, Lynx.
The family would like to thank their special family friends, Sheila, Terry, and Terri Lee Peardon for the special care they gave to Camille. They will always be remembered for their love and kindness.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 5 to 6:30 pm followed by a funeral service at 6:30 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.). North Syracuse, NY. Camille will be at peace, interred with her beloved parents at Assumption Cemetery.
