Carl R. Piazza's Obituary
Carl R. Piazza, 65, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025 at Upstate University Hospital. He was born in Syracuse to the late Carl C. and Concetta (Monello) Piazza and graduated from Henninger High School. Carl enjoyed bowling and building model airplanes. He was also an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed S.U. college basketball.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Lisa Piazza in 2011.
Carl is survived by his sisters, Linda (John) Turi, Julie (Pat) Seiden, and Susan (Gerald) Morton; his nieces and nephews, Natalia, Carla, and Anthony Turi, Jake and Carly Seiden; along with several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. followed by a funeral service in celebration of Carl’s life at 6:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Entombment will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
