Carmella (Cimino) Campolo's Obituary
Carmella (Cimino) Campolo, of Syracuse, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 at Upstate University Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Joseph and Carmella (D’Agostino) Cimino. Carmella graduated from Central High School and attended Powelson Business School. She was a secretary with General Electric and retired from the VA Medical Center in the Prosthetic Division after 17 years of service.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, John Campolo in 2011. Carmella is survived by her devoted son, Benjamin A. Campolo of Syracuse; her brother, Alex (Marian) Cimino of Syracuse, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral mass in celebration of Carmella’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends are invited to attend a calling hour on Friday from 8:45 to 9:45 am at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, 1 Children’s Circle, Syracuse, NY 13210.
