Carmella "Millie" Corbett's Obituary
Carmella “Millie” (Praino) Corbett, 82, of North Syracuse, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Kirkhaven Transitional Care in Rochester, NY. She was a life resident of the Syracuse area and a communicant of St. Margaret’s Church. Millie was an active member with the Young at Heart Senior Center in Cicero and loved spending time with her friends there.
She was predeceased by her parents, James V. and Isabelle (LaMacchia) Praino and her companion, Charles “Bud” Corby.
Millie is survived by her two daughters, Isabelle Marie Vogt (David) of Hastings and Heather (Chris) Fry of Webster, NY; four grandchildren, Alexis Fry and Megan Fry, Andrea Vogt Shaffer and David Vogt; one great-granddaughter, Amber, several nieces and one nephew.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Millie’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at St. Margaret’s Church in Mattydale. THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME is in charge of funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
