Carmella R. (Fantacone) Archino's Obituary
Carmella R. (Fantacone) Archino, 99, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully March 23, 2022 at St. Camillus. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Anthony and Giovannina (Paglia) Fantacone. Carmella worked over 20 dedicated years at Green Hills Farms. She enjoyed baking and was known for her Italian Cookies. Carmella loved taking care of anyone and everyone she could. Above all, she loved spending time with family and friends, especially her cherished grandchildren and her beloved grand dog Cinder.
In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her husband, Peter Archino in 1982; siblings: Dominic, Thomas, Caroline, Henrietta and Jenny.
Carmella is survived by two daughters, Therese (Bob) Boehm and Giovanna Archino (Mark Lancette); two grandsons: Andrew (Danielle) Boehm and Peter Boehm; three great granddaughters, Karmella, Alivia, and Alyssa; her sister, Anna Valentine, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 from 4:00 – 5:00 pm at Our Lady of Hope Church, 4845 S. Salina St., Syracuse, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Carmella’s life at 5:00 pm at the church.
