Carmella (Perrotti) Frio, 95, of Liverpool, passed away February 23, 2024 at Elderwood at Liverpool. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Carmen and Filipina (Paduana) Perrotti and retired from Syracuse China in 1990. Ca Read Obituary
Auntie Carm & Uncle Syl were godparents to both myself & my sister. Before we were born, they took yearly trips to Lake George with our parents & I have many photos from my dad of those trips. Uncle Syl & Rosario were in our parents wedding party.
I remember as a kid, I loved going to their house where she was always so bubbly & would spoil us with lots of goodies. I will always fondly remember my "Auntie Carm".

As the oldest nephew , I was particularly blessed to spend a good portion of my life with Auntie Carm. My first memory of her was when I was 8 years old as a ring bearer at her wedding. It just got better and better as the years passed, as I, my wife and our 3 children spent many happy occasions in her presence. It is said that you do not appreciate someone fully until they are gone. Auntie Carm is an exception to that rule. We appreciated her every day of her life. A truly remarkable person.

Some of my most vivid and joyful memories of my childhood involved Auntie Carm. We visited her with my family as a young boy often, getting ridiculously spoiled as she passed us kids chocolates when my parents weren't looking, as Uncle Syl at some point inevitably passed me a $20 and told me not to tell my parents. And of course all under the constant and mouth-watering cooking and feeding. To say that she was bursting with love is a vast understatement. Growing up I thought most aunts were like Aunti Carm. But now in my adulthood I realize she was truly one of a kind.

Auntie Carmella was a wonderful person. She loved too have visits with Angela, Andrew and myself. Always trying serve us Food, Dessert and Drinks. She was such a upbeat person and extremely friendly. She will be missed by our family and will never be forgotten. John St Laurent Family
