Carmella A. (Pirro) White's Obituary
Carmella A. (Pirro) White, 95, of Camillus, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 25, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born in Syracuse to the late Pellegrino and Rafaella (Baranello) Pirro. After marrying the love of her life, Donald, she devoted herself to being the best homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. Carmella loved to work the voting polls for election day, and even earned the title of “Mrs. Republican” for the Camillus Republican Club. Above all else, Carmella enjoyed spending time with her loving friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Donald; her daughter, Karen Money; her siblings, Michael D. (Sue) Pirro and Lucy Pirro; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Elsie Pirro; and her daughter-in-law, Kathleen Money.
Carmella is survived by her son-in-law, Douglas R. Money; her grandsons, Matthew and Andrew Money; her great-grandson, Payton Money; her brothers, Rocco C. and James A. Pirro; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will take place from 11 am – 12:15 pm followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Carmella’s life at 12:30 pm on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Camillus, NY. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Holy Family Church Food Pantry.
