Carmella (Cerone) Sucapani's Obituary
Carmella (Cerone) Sucapani, 96, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2020. Born in Collelongo, Italy to the late Antonio and Marie Antonia (Vennetacci) Cerone, Carmella retired from LeMoyne Manor after many dedicated years. Family was the world to Carmella, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her beloved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Carmella was predeceased by her husband, Fiore Sucapani in 2004; and her sisters, Elisa Cerone and Nina Mariano.
Carmella is survived by her 3 sons, Rocco, Anthony (Christine), and John (Carmela) Sucapani; 5 grandchildren, Anna, Teresa, Anthony, Fred, and Nicholas; 7 great-grandchildren, Anthony, Serafina, Natale, Francesca, Teresa, Vincenzo, and Johnny; 3 sisters, Mary Salucci, Aqualina DelTurco, and Sr. Teresa Cerone; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Carmella’s life at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Carmella will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
