Carmen D. Angiolillo's Obituary
Carmen D. Angiolillo, 82, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, July 6, 2014. He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Elisa (Antionelli) and John Angiolillo. Carmen was a caregiver with the Syracuse Developmental Center and retired after 32 years of service. He volunteered at the Syracuse VA Medical Center and was an active member of The Church of the Living Word. Carmen was an avid Yankees fan, loved to fish, and go out on his boat. He was also always ready for a game of Pitch.
He was predeceased by his sister, Henrietta Boynton, and four brothers, Thomas, Joseph, Rocco, and Nick.
Carmen is survived by his two sons, Carmen (Melynda) Angiolillo and Christopher Angiolillo; his grandchildren, Luke and Madelyn Angiolillo; three siblings, Susan DePaola, John (Ann) Angiolillo, and Mary Schirtz, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be private. THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME is handling local arrangements.
