Carmen J. Crupe's Obituary
Carmen J. Crupe, 91, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
Carmen was born March 2, 1933, in Syracuse, NY, son of the late Joseph and Bettina (Vassallo) Crupe.
He worked as a stone mason alongside his father for many years. Together they built many homes in the area. Carmen went on to work for Sal Masonry for over 25 years. His craftmanship lives on in many Syracuse landmarks. As an avid gardener, he was also known for his beautiful lawn, flowers, and gardens.
He will mostly be remembered for being a humble and caring man. A wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of over 50 years, Sylvia (Carni) Crupe, and his brother, Richard Crupe.
Carmen is survived by his daughter, Bettina (Crupe) Siano; son-in-law, Stephen Siano; grandchildren, Dr. Steven Siano, Brittany (Corey) Dunlap; and great-granddaughter, Charlotte (Dunlap). He will be forever missed.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 9:30 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A funeral Mass in celebration of Carmen’s life will follow at St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale at 12 P.M. (Noon). Entombment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum, Syracuse, NY.
In Carmen’s memory, contributions may be made to the Food Bank of CNY, 7066 Interstate Island Rd, Syracuse, NY 13209.
