Carmen A. Perrotti's Obituary
Carmen A. Perrotti, 89, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2024. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Carmen and Filippina (Paduana) Perrotti. Carmen was an outstanding 3 sport athlete and graduated from North High School in 1953. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran. Carmen worked nearly 40 dedicated years for Niagara Mohawk retiring as a gas foreman. He was an avid New York Yankees fan. Above all, Carmen enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his beloved grandchildren. He was an extremely dedicated and loyal man that always put his family first, never missing his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events which were the highlights of his life. Carmen cared for his wife until the end, they were married 63 years and when she became ill, he never left her side from 2010-2021.
Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his beloved wife, Virginia (Toia) Perrotti. He was the last and youngest surviving Perrotti sibling and was predeceased by his other 10 siblings.
Carmen is survived by his sons, Carmen (Sheila) Perrotti and David (Kristin) Perrotti; daughter, Karen (Dominick) Caruso; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME followed by a funeral Mass in celebration of Carmen’s life at 10:00 A.M. in Epiphany Parish (Formerly St. Joseph the Worker Church) 1001 Tulip St., Liverpool. He will be entombed in Woodlawn Mausoleum. Family and friends may call on Monday, October 21, 2024, from 3:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
