Caroline Mannara's Obituary
Caroline Mannara, 95, of Syracuse, passed to the Lord on Saturday, April 6, 2024 following a short illness. She will be remembered with love by her family and friends. Caroline was born on April 15, 1928, to the late Ferdinando and Rosanna (DiOrio) Mannara. Caroline will be remembered for her love of baking, traveling, and spending time with family. Caroline very often donated her baked goods to various charitable organizations.
In addition to her parents, Caroline is preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Thomas; sisters, MaryAnne Mannara, Eleanora Daloia and Susan Vendetti.
She is survived by her brothers, Louis and Father Fred Mannara; her sisters, Rose Mannara, and Loretta Chase; as well as 11 nieces and nephews and 23 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Murthy, Dr. Azar, Dr. Cherny and the staff and nurses at Crouse Hospital for their compassion and care for Caroline.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday April 10, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in Most Holy Rosary Church with visitation prior from 10:00 – 10:45 A.M. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Most Holy Rosary School, 111 Roberts Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13207.
